Loved it!
We really love the Rio, the staff and everybody is way nice. Asked for a strip view and they gave us one. Room was big and gorgeous and it was always clean and tidy. There is a Starbucks right down stairs which was excellent! We rented a small car because there was so much to see outside the city, so we usually drove to strip as parking everywhere is free but we also took the shuttle one day to Harrahs which was nice too. Only down side was some of the clubs/lounges are expensive to get in. but even with that it was the only thing we were unhappy about. All in all a great place. We will definitely go back there. Oh also, Fantastic Buffet! Wow!
Huge Rooms - Small Price
This is a beautiful hotel with HUGE rooms, good views, good service, and plenty of things to do. There's a nice comfy couch, a coffee table, a nice desk to set your laptop on, and comfortable beds. There are two sinks, one in the bathroom and one outside. This is a great idea, especially for people traveling together, especially when someone is taking a shower and the inside mirror gets fogged up. We paid $59 a night for this HUGE room! For an extra $20 a night we could have had strip views. I'm sure they were amazing, but for our regular price we had a great view the Palms, and the snow capped mountains. The pool was closed during our visit so I can't comment there. The "All-American Bar & Grill" was much nicer than the title implied and I had a GREAT steak! There are over 12 restaurants just in the Casino, including the Carnival Buffet, which is just ridiculous. Over 90 different dishes, all decent to very good. You get a free show on certain days called "Show in the sky". Beautiful people dancing and singing, and throwing beads. It's a lot of fun, although a bit too adult for all audiences. The free shuttles run early and often to various strip locations, so don't be concerned too much about the location.
Great rooms, with great views of the strip.
The rooms were great, but it was easy to get lost with all the towers. We loved the rooms but hated having to find our way there through the casino filled with sleazy dancers. Great to stay if you are not planning on walking the strip as it is pretty far from most attractions.

Location. The Rio All Suite Hotel and Casino is located in Las Vegas, Nev., and offers complimentary shuttle service to the Las Vegas Strip. The hotel is located two miles from the Guggenheim Hermitage Museum and Madame Tussauds Las Vegas. Guestrooms. The hotel's 2,500 guestrooms provide floor to ceiling views of Las Vegas. Rooms are equipped with wireless Internet access, for a fee. Coffeemakers and refrigerators are provided. Select rooms offer jetted tubs. In room safes are complimentary.

Expert Tip. The VooDoo Caf? and Lounge is located in the Masquerade Tower. Throughout the week, disc jockeys play hip hop and Latin rhythms. The Rio All Suite Hotel & Casino also features the iBar, which is very similar to the iPhone. Bar patrons can touch drink ingredient options located on their table's surface and send their custom orders directly to the bar. The table surface also offers games, maps, and one more alluring feature called Flirt, where messages of interest can be sent directly to other tables.
